Check out the pix from the Japanese shops!
We just got some pictures from our Japanese friends at Trident Style. They were kind enough and sent us these pix presenting the various CD shops like HMV, Tower Records, Virgin MegaStore etc where Sara's album is displayed. Thank you Trident Style!
"Simon..." rising on Japanese charts!
Sara's single "Simon Can't Sing" is now at nbr 17 on ZIP-FM chart. The album was released in Japan in early December and it all looks pretty interesting now...
Our Japanese label: TridentStyle
Yeah, our new friends at Trident Style in Japan are currenlty busy promoting my album down there. They're doing some great stuff and I'm positive the album will do well there! :-)
ALBUM OUT IN JAPAN AND USA!
Finally, my album's finally out also outside Finland, yipee! It's about time!
Our new partners in business are TridentStyle (Japan) and American Royalty Records (USA).

To those who do not yet know, my debut album is about the music industry and all the shit that goes on in it from my POV, kinda autobiographical about all the experiences I've had over the past 8 years, from different labels and their philosophies (mo money, mo money!) and all the crap U gotta do, most of which is so stupid, I mean, what does it matter how someone looks? If U like the music, dig it on its own terms and not because U think the singer is cool or cute. Publicity usually has it's own downers, and if U take it seriously then U start believing in an identity U don't have and the real person disappears behind an endless ocean of shallowness. Deep, eh? ;-)

Anyways, each song on the album is like a snapshot of a different incident or situation that I remember happening, some funny and some pathetic and some still get to me. The theme of da musik biz is not meant to be attacking it nor glorifying it, it's merely a topic that I thought was (and still is) interesting. So check it out, I really hope U like it, we spent a lot of time on it and hope that it kicks ass and makes u think (or at least keeps U entertained).
